Actor Willie Garson (Feb. 20, 1964 – Sept. 21, 2021) has passed away following a battle with pancreatic cancer. He appeared in over 75 films and more than 300 TV episodes. Garson was best known for playing Stanford Blatch on the HBO series Sex and the City and in the related films Sex and the City and Sex and the City 2. (Although Stanford Blatch was a gay character, the actor was straight in real life.) He aslo palyed Mozzie in the USA Network series White Collar; Ralph in the 2005 romantic comedy Little Manhattan; Gerald Hirsch in the reboot of Hawaii Five-0; and Martin Lloyd in the sci-fi series Stargate SG-1. Garson was a respected and beloved figure in Hollywood, as evidenced by the enormous outpouring of grief and affection following his death.
