Arnold Stephen Jacobs Jr., commonly called A.J. Jacobs, is an American journalist, author, and lecturer best known for writing about his lifestyle experiments. The 54-year-old Jacobs is an editor at large for Esquire and has worked for the Antioch Daily Ledger and Entertainment Weekly. He is the author of several books, including The Know-It-All : One Man’s Humble Quest to Become the Smartest Person in the World and Drop Dead Healthy: One Man’s Humble Quest for Bodily Perfection.
