Tamar Frankel, 96, is a renowned legal scholar who has been a professor at Boston University School of Law since 1968. She is the author of The Ponzi Scheme Puzzle: A History and Analysis of Con Artists and Victims, among several other titles. Frankel was born in Tel Aviv, in British Mandatory Palestine, and served in the Haganah, the main Zionist paramilitary organization before Israeli independence.
