Jamie Raskin: Maryland Congressman on the Judiciary Committee

Rep. Jamie Raskin, 56, is a Democratic congressman elected in 2016 from Maryland’s 8th congressional district. He is a member of the House Judiciary Committee. Prior to being elected to Congress, he was a member of the Maryland State Senate and a constitutional law professor at American University’s Washington College of Law. Raskin received his bachelor’s degree and law degree from Harvard University.
