Motty Steinmetz may not be a household name for most Jews, but he’s a superstar in Hasidic circles. The 30-year-old singer of religious Jewish songs, with the lyrics often being taken directly from scripture or prayers, is known for the great emotion he puts into his music. He released his debut album Haneshama Bekirbi in 2017. In 2018, the Israeli national broadcaster Kan 11 produced an episode documenting Steinmetz’s life and music.

Quote: “Motty Steinmetz, continues the authentic heritage of Hassidic music for over a decade, having already performed all over the world, bringing the word of Hassidic music to hundreds of thousands… [who] yearn to listen to quality, sanctity, and authenticity. Just like decades and hundreds of years ago — so today.”
