Martin “Marty” Baron, 64, has been executive editor of The Washington Post for nearly seven years; previously, he was the editor at The Boston Globe for more than a decade. He journalism career also includes stints with The New York Times and The Los Angeles Times. Under his leadership, The Washington Post has garnered numerous Pulitzer Prizes. Baron was prominently portrayed in the 2015 movie Spotlight, about pedophilia in the Catholic clergy.
