Leonard “Len” Adleman is a leading American computer scientist who received the prestigious ACM Turing Award (considered to be “the Nobel prize of computer science”) in 2002. He is credited with creating DNA computing and being one of the creators of the RSA encryption algorithm. Currently, Adleman is a Computer Science professor at the University of Southern California.
