Larry Tesler, who passed away last month at the age of 75, had a long and illustrious career as a computer scientist. Over the years, he was employed by Xerox, PARC, Apple, Amazon, and Yahoo. Tesler’s professional credits include helping to develop the first object-oriented programming language, as well as the first word processor with a graphical user interface. Along with a colleague, he conceived and developed the copy-and-paste computer function.
