Ken Grossman, 65, is co-founder of the Sierra Nevada Brewing Company, established in 1979. Grossman is now the sole owner, having bought out his business partner in 1998. Sierra Nevada has grown into the seventh largest U.S. brewing company and the nation’s largest privately owned brewery. In 2018, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency named Sierra Nevada “Green Business of the Year.” Beer has made Grossman a billionaire.
