Jacklyn “Jacky” Rosen (D), 63, was elected to the U.S. Senate from Nevada in 2018. (Raised by a Jewish father and non-Jewish mother, she considers herself to be Jewish.) Rosen was one of three Senators to press for the creation of a federal special envoy position to combat antisemitism. Prior to serving in the Senate, she was a member of the House of Representatives.
Quote: “Before I was elected to Congress, I had the honor of serving as the president of the Congregation Ner Tamid in Henderson, the largest Reform Synagogue in Southern Nevada. During my tenure, I witnessed firsthand the beauty in our country’s religious diversity and how community engagement strengthens America.”
