Israeli Technology Helps Visually Impaired People Lead More Normal Lives

Israeli company OrCam Technologies Limited is the developer of the MyEye, a device that “provides a visual aid through a discreet, wearable platform and easy-to-use interface.” The company was founded by Prof. Amnon Shashua, an expert in computer vision and machine learning, as well as by veteran corporate executive Ziv Aviram. The two also co-founded Mobileye, another Israeli technology company, which develops computerized accident-avoidance systems for automobiles.
