For nearly three decades, Ira Flatow has anchored the popular weekly talk-show Science Friday, which deals with issues of science and technology. He also is Science Friday‘s executive producer. The program now airs on Public Radio International and Serius XM Radio. Previously, the 70-year-old journalist and author hosted two television series on PBS: Newton’s Apple — which garnered an Emmy Award — and Big Ideas. Flatow’s latest published book is Present at the Future: From Evolution to Nanotechnology, Candid and Controversial Conversations on Science and Nature.
