In the late 1990s and early 2000s, professional wrestling arenas reverberated with shouts of “Goldberg! Goldberg! Goldberg!” from adoring fans. Bill Scott Goldberg was one of the most successful and popular pro wrestlers of the era. He was United States Champion and World Heavyweight Champion of the WCW (World Championship Wrestling). Before his wrestling career, Goldberg was a pro football player; post-wrestling, he became an MMA color commentator. And after not wrestling for more than a decade, he recently re-entered the ring at age 50!
