Attorney Gloria Allred frequently appears on television news programs to speak about the often-controversial cases she takes on. The 75-year-old Allred is best known for representing clients in women’s rights cases, including those involving alleged sexual harassment; in addition, she has represented people in civil rights, wrongful termination and employment discrimination cases. She was characterized as “a longtime master of the press conference” by The New Republic, due to her penchant for using televised press conferences in support of her clients.
