Attorney Elie Honig, 45, is a legal scholar and an analyst on the law for CNN, where he has his own show called Cross Exam with Elie Honig. Previously, he was the Assistant U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York, and Assistant Attorney General of New Jersey. Honig successfully prosecuted numerous mobsters and was called organized crime’s “worst nightmare.” He also gained the nickname “Hotshot Honig.”
