David Remnick became the editor-in-chief of The New Yorker nearly two decades ago; previously, he was a staff writer at the magazine and before that the Moscow correspondent for The Washington Post. Since becoming editor-in-chief, Remnick has continued writing articles for The New Yorker. He also has written several books, including Lenin’s Tomb: The Last Days of the Soviet Empire; Resurrection: The Struggle for a New Russia; and The Bridge: The Life and Rise of Barack Obama.
