Charles “Chuck” Rosenberg, 59, who has worn many hats during his impressive career, is a former U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia. During his tenure, Rosenberg brought dog-fighting charges against Atlanta Falcons quarterback Michael Vick. He was involved in the government’s death penalty case against September 11 conspirator Zacarias Moussaoui. And he played a significant role in child pornography cases, as well as cases involving violent crime and mortgage fraud.
Quote: “Throughout his distinguished career in law enforcement and public service, Chuck has earned the trust and the praise of his colleagues at every level. He has proven himself as an exceptional leader, a skilled problem-solver, and a consummate public servant of unshakable integrity.” — Loretta Lynch, former U.S. Attorney General
