Screenwriter, director, producer and lyricist Charlie Kaufman, 60, wrote the scripts for Being John Malkovich (1999), Adaptation (2002), and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind (2004). His work has been nominated for four Academy Awards; he won the Best Original Screenplay Oscar for Being John Malkovich. The list of the 101 greatest movie screenplays ever written, from the Writers Guild of America, includes three of Kaufman’s scripts.
